This piece is sculpted from paper thin layers of porcelain.
'Fray' explores the beauty found at the edge of unraveling. The fragile, torn rim suggests a form pushed to its limits, where structure begins to break apart yet still holds together. Through this piece, I wanted to reflect on moments of tension and vulnerability—how even as things fray, they can reveal new textures, softness, and a quiet kind of resilience.
