Unique hand built stoneware and porcelain piece. Multiple glazes and firings built up over time.
In this piece I wanted to explore forms that feel on the verge of transformation. The cracked, folded, and flowing surfaces suggest movement—glaze slipping, material shifting, edges unfolding. By bringing together smooth porcelain with rugged, textured areas, the work conveys a sense of emergence, as if something is breaking through or reshaping itself. It invites viewers to sit with the tension between fragility and force, and to see beauty in the moments where a form begins to change.
