Unique hand built black stoneware vessel, porcelain, glazes, oxides and glass.
This large piece reflects surfaces shaped by slow, natural forces. The layered glazes and textured walls evoke erosion, sediment, and water-worn stone, giving the vessel a sense of having formed over time rather than being made all at once. By letting the material move and pool unpredictably, I wanted to show explore the beauty of irregularity and the quiet depth found in organic processes.
